Welcome to the Self-Realized Podcast with Linton Bergsen, where you will shatter your limits. I am not much into the self-help industry as much as I'm into the self-realized individual, which is you, what matters most to you, how you get there and the obstacles that may be in your way. Mind Power Mastery: Unlock Your Life In 5 Steps. Can you in fact do that? That's a question that obviously you're going to use your mind to begin to contemplate and think upon, which is why, when you look at mind power and mastering the mind, one of the most important aspects is thinking. There is a great quote from Dr Martin Luther King that I like to use, and this is the quote Nothing pains some people more than having to think. That is the quote, and there is truth in that. What do you think about? That is your mind. That is the number one step, the beginning step, to look at where you place your thoughts every day. When you wake up in the morning, when you get out of bed, when you open your eyes, what are you thinking? Contemplate on that for a moment. Go back to this morning, or go back to when you first opened your eyes. What did you think? Did you think, oh gee, I've got this day ahead of me and it's not really that great. Did you think I'm stressed out? I have no idea how I'm going to deal with my current situations? Did you think about your family? Did you think about your children? Did you think about your friends? Did you think about the stresses at work? Your thought process began the minute you opened your eyes and had a thought. Be very, very conscious of that, because mind power mastery is really mastery over your initial thought. Number one when you begin the day, if you start out with the wrong thought, it will lead you down a spiral that is very hard to get out of.

Linton Bergsen:

One of the thoughts or one of the things that I suggest that you think when you wake up in the morning, when you begin your day, is not I am going to reach for my phone, I am going to look at social media, because that thought creates an action. And unfortunately, we live in a world where a lot of people that is their initial first thought but not you, because you are going to be involved in mind power mastery and that's why it's called mind power and that is the first step to unlock your life is to think about what you do first thing in the morning, not only what you think about, but what you actually verbalize as your voice in the morning, what you actually say out loud, not just in your head, because words have energy and power. When you wake up in the morning, think about what it is that you say to yourself and the first conversation you need to have in the morning, the first step to mind power mastery, is that self-talk, not just mentally, because that's a thought, but verbally, energetically, putting it out into the world as a verbal word process for your affirmation in the morning. As you know and are very aware of, words have power. More importantly, words have power when you use them from your soul, essence, the quality within yourself, spiritualize them in whatever way you want to do that first thing in the morning.

Linton Bergsen:

Here's a suggestion I would make for you to start the day. It's what I do. It is thank you, spirit, god, whatever you choose to believe or be involved in for this day, guide me, watch over me, guide my thoughts, words and actions to manifest into my life and my reality as much peace, joy and happiness as I can by making the right decisions. I seek your guidance, I seek your love and your active participation in my day and life. Try it, just start out your day. That way you can adapt whatever affirmation according to what belief systems that you own within yourself, but acknowledge something Acknowledge the spirit in you, acknowledge the working spirit, the divine force within you, acting with you in and through your life. Begin to do on a regular basis that is mind power mastery. As you begin to do on a regular basis, it will become a habit. As you begin to use it and it becomes a habit, you will see changes in your life.

Linton Bergsen:

The first words in the morning that come out of your mouth because they'll be part of your thoughts, but actually come out of your mouth as an active voice within you, loud into the atmosphere, into the world is what I just mentioned Something powerful as an affirmation to spirit and guiding forces in your life. Don't speak to anyone else before you've done that. You could whisper it, even if your partner is sleeping or whatever your situation is personally. Just whisper it quietly to yourself as you open your eyes. It doesn't have to be loud, it just has to be the first words that you actively say when you wake up.

Linton Bergsen:

When you look at the steps to mind power mastery, the first one I gave you is what you think, setting the tone for the day. The second one I want to give you is imagination, and imagination is imagining, obviously, what your day will look like, what your life will look like. Once you begin to master the mind power. Of that, then you begin to access vision. You begin to imagine what things can look like and be in your life. You can begin to have a feeling, through your imagination, what it is that you want to accomplish or have happen as goals, as active goals in your life.

Linton Bergsen:

If you start out with a positive self-talk, mentally and aloud, as I mentioned, and then imagine a little visualization of how you would like your day to look, that is mind power mastery beginning to develop in a very powerful way, because now you have spoken into creation, to existence, what it is that you'd like to have happen in your day. And now you're going to imagine, visualize what it is that you'd like your day to look like. And you're probably at this point, maybe five minutes into your day. You haven't spoken to anyone yet, you haven't reached for any social media yet. You just thought something positive, you said something positive, you visualized something positive, because now your imagination is seeing what is your day and, on a bigger scale, your life is going to look like. Step number three is getting that thought process, that imagination working. And now you've got the imagination working, you're going to start being creative. You're going to start figuring out how you can make things happen that you are imagining, that you would like to have happen.

Linton Bergsen:

You're in your third stage of the mind power mastery. Step number three creatively beginning to say to yourself well, how am I going to create what I have mentioned to myself this morning, that I have visualized? And that is a very powerful process for you to be involved in, because creativity is the essence of problem solving, of you getting into the deeper part of yourself that makes you feel alive, because when you get creative, you begin to access all your power that is within you and that is what the self-realized individual is all about the internal powerhouse, that self-realized state that says everything that I need to know is already in me. I don't need to step outside of myself. If I wake up the right way, if I use the right mind power mastery, I can begin to become a self-realized individual. That's what self-realization is about. It is an internal journey to access the tools that you need to apply externally to manifest what you want. Creativity is an intuitive, inspired ability that you have to pull upon to literally create what it is.

Linton Bergsen:

As I've mentioned earlier in step two, you imagined Number four. I want to give you a very important tool that you can use that is a very prominent part of mind power mastery and unlocking the life that you want, and that is introspection to how you really feel about all of this, how it's really sitting with you, how does it really gel with the overall concepts and feelings that you have for your life and the values that you hold dear, and how it's going to interact with your family and your friends and any changes that you may need or want to make as you go through the process of life and a lot of mind power mastery. Is this introspection, this step four, because this is where you begin to think about. Well, let me make a list of maybe some adaptations I would like to make about what I imagined, what I'm creating, what I'm thinking about. Maybe when you wake up in the morning you may adapt your affirmation, your self-talk.

Linton Bergsen:

You're introspecting now because you're growing and developing, and that introspection you might want to begin to journal, write some things down, get some clarity about some changes that you need to make, about what you're doing, especially when you're goal setting and things of this nature, and goal setting is something that is a very, very important part of life. But sometimes what people don't understand and don't use enough in the goal setting process is introspection for correction. That's a term I like to use because it is that point in life where the introspection creates the correction. If you just go hell bent on anything that you decide to do and don't stop for a moment, pause, take a breath, introspect, think about what you're doing, look at your creative process and your imagination, look at that vision that you're establishing for yourself, because imagination and vision are closely tied, and in my book, purposeful Vision, I talk about that Einstein's quote. Your imagination is the preview to your life's coming events. So, looking at step four, introspection very important.

Linton Bergsen:

And also in the introspective process you want to really be persistent with what it is that you set out to do. And the reason I put introspection and persistence together is because sometimes when we introspect, we can get discouraged because we look at it and we go. Well, you know now I'm really thinking about this we're introspecting upon how this is going to go, what it may really look like. It may even cause some disruptions in your life, with your family, your friends, your workplace. So you introspect for a while and a little bit of that fear comes up. You may be familiar with the acronym I've used for fear before false evidence appearing real. But during your introspective process you keep going. And another acronym that I like to use you create your own luck living under correct knowledge. So when you get into this introspective mode, keep it positive, keep it really strong and affirm and know in that process of introspection that you might go through a process of processing some of your childhood negative talk. Don't let it deter you.

Linton Bergsen:

Introspection is not about beating yourself up. It's about revealing to yourself who and what you really are, which is pure, unadulterated spirit. Now, I'm going to say that because when you understand that everything that you need to have in this life as a self-realized individual, on the journey and pathway to self-realization, comes from a spiritually activated source. I like to use and work with God. I know God exists in my own life. Why? Because I've experienced it. I'm not talking about what I think here. I'm sharing with you what I've experienced in my own life as a reality my darkest moments, in times when things haven't been easy, I have turned to prayer and God, spirit, intuition, all these things that have gotten me through some very difficult phases in my own life. They will work for you too, because, basically, what we're dealing with when I mentioned intuition intuition and I've mentioned it so many times in all the podcasts episodes that I've done because being self-realized, self-realization is all about intuition and that sense of something.

Linton Bergsen:

Intuition is the most powerful source of guidance that you will have in your life to move you forward and in mastering the power of the mind, mind power mastery is understanding how to work with intuition, putting it through the process of your mind, which is essentially a gut feeling, a sense that this is something I need to be involved with, a sense that this is something I need to be involved with. When you begin to look back on the first step thinking there's intuitive sense there that you need to be aware of about the source of that thinking process is also a feeling the imagination, the creativity. Steps two and three that is an inner sense of intuitive awareness. You can have a vision, you can be creative, but you have to allow your imagination and your creativity to run riot, and you can only do that by having no limits as to what you are allowing yourself to think and feel in the moment. As you go through this mind power mastery, it is a freedom that you are accessing. It's the ability to think, create, imagine without limitations or boundaries.

Linton Bergsen:

Think of this on the mind power mastery. Your mind is an infinite powerhouse. It has no limits, it has no boundaries, it has no reason as to why it cannot go way out into the infinite realms of possibility. The only reason that it cannot happen is because of you. You are pure spirit. Make no mistake about that. There is no ambiguity and there's no discussion on this. You are pure spirit.

Linton Bergsen:

You know that because common sense will tell you that Intuition is not physical, it's not part of the five senses Taste, touch, smell, hearing and sight. So by definition, it is a spiritual awareness for the self-realized individual who is on the path to self-realization to work with very closely. That is why this podcast is called Self-Realized. It may not be for everyone, because what I'm recommending and saying to you that the journey to self-realization is developing the intuitive process and working with it directly, with spirit. That is the fifth step. That step right there is honing and using your intuition for mind power mastery. It is the most important, the most critical step that you will work with and develop, because without intuition your life can go all over the place. And I know you know that why? Because I would suggest to you very strongly that you have said to yourself on occasion I wish I had only listened to myself. The other reason I would say to you that there is a God in everyone's life.

Linton Bergsen:

Whether you call it that, whether you acknowledge the forces, the spiritual forces around you or within you, using that name is irrelevant. You can call it cosmic consciousness, but there is a God. You know, when something goes really wrong in people's life or they see an accident or something catastrophic, a lot of times they'll say, oh my God, and it's just a reaction, isn't it? There's also saying that there are no atheists in foxholes. When push comes to shove and we do this almost involuntarily and you may have experienced it yourself or certainly seen it in real life situations the people go to this place within themselves when they get into these very difficult situations and say, as I mentioned, oh my God, we put our hand up to our mouth. We really don't know what to do or say why, because a lot of times, when things are out of control, we just have to let go and get into that deeper sense of ourselves and get into that true place of mind, power, mastery, which is the five steps that I've given you today to your own freedom to realize what and who you really are, to become established in your life at the level that I know you want to be.

Linton Bergsen:

The first step is to think. The second step is to imagine what it is that you would like for your life. Step number three is to get creative to make it happen. Fourth step is get into the introspective mode as you go, so that you can course correct and know that you're still feeling the same way about what it is you're doing and you can adapt accordingly.

Linton Bergsen:

And the fifth, the most important one, in mind power mastery. Unlock your life in five steps. The fifth one is intuition. Intuition is developed through learning some deep meditation processes wherever you would like to go and learn that. Learn how to breathe, learn how to calm yourself down, spend some time in nature, spend some time alone, silence and solitude however much of it you can get, how often you can do it is going to help you to begin to get into the self-realized self-realization that you are your own resource and that you have an intuitive power that is within you that is telling you, guiding you, making you aware through your conscience, making you aware through that voice within you, that inner voice that says you know what? This doesn't feel quite right. That is that guiding rudder, that guiding force in your life. In mind power mastery. It activates and works in concert all the time with the other four.

Linton Bergsen:

What you think, what you imagine, what you create, how you introspect should be based upon what it is that you intuitively are feeling and guided through the spirit within you. You are pure spirit. Intuition, as I said before, has nothing to do with the senses. Tune into your intuition, begin to get the mind power mastery operating from the right place. Lock yourself into the five steps and you will begin to unravel in your life all the problems, all the situations that you found were almost impossible to deal with in such a positive way, in such an uplifting way, that you will never look back, you will never turn back and these five steps that I've given you will unlock for you a life that you can not only cope with, not only deal with, but thriving.

Linton Bergsen:

And the reason I'm saying that to you is because in my own life, with everything that I have done and been through with all corporations, people, organizations, personal and professional situations I've dealt with successfully for great outcomes, dealing with people and dealing with life. It certainly hasn't been any cakewalk. These are the five steps that I have used and I have worked consistently on my own mind power mastery. I wouldn't share it with you if I wasn't using it and I wouldn't share it with you if I hadn't tested it in the laboratory of my own life and been the guinea pig. Now it worked for me doesn't mean it's going to work for you, but I can only talk from my own life and been the guinea pig. Now it worked for me. It doesn't mean it's going to work for you, but I can only talk from my own experiences.

Linton Bergsen:

My strong suggestion for you today is to at least try and activate that mind power mastery for yourself and unlock your life in the five steps that I have suggested for you today. And if it works, now you have a system and a process you can use and you can share and you can tell other people about, because now you are able to help other people, because you've been able to help yourself through the experiences that you've had. It really doesn't matter where you get information from. It only becomes useful to the person who uses it and experiments with it. I hope that you will experiment and use the information I've given you today and that you will experience what it is to have mind power mastery to achieve everything that you would like to have in your life.
