Welcome to the Self Realized podcast with Linton Bergsen, where you will shatter your limits. I am not much into the self help industry, as much as I'm into the self-realized individual, which is you, what matters most to you, how you get there, and the obstacles that may be in your way. If you would like to be part of this podcast and part of that discussion. I welcome you here with an open heart, open mind and open arms. So without further ado, let's get on with the podcast.
I would like to thank you with much gratitude for joining me today on episode number 87 Discover The Hidden Path of Spiritual Awareness. We have many different avenues we can go down spiritually that are offered to us by so many people in so many different ways but there are not that many that will actually offer you a practical self-realization of changing your life at a very deep level, hidden in plain site that it may not always be that obvious, just takes a little bit of prompting to reveal itself and be useful to you. What I am offering you today is exactly that. A practical deep understanding of the one spiritual awareness, the one self-realization of a self-realized individual which you are that can change the ongoing flow of your life. Because what you ultimately want is your life to flow, for you to be an individual that is dealing with as little stress not stress-less because that wouldn't be realistic and some positive stress can be a good thing sometimes in our lives but we ultimately you and I we would like to flow, understanding the one spiritual awareness that will allow you to be more in the flow and sometimes hidden in the background of our life that we need to bring more to the forefront in order to give us a greater spiritual awareness of the events and circumstances that occur in our life and will allow us to be less in the push and pull of the world is this, sometimes we get carried away a little to much on what we think, instead of focusing and contemplating on what we really feel, we go through a thinking process in life. We constantly have thoughts running through our mind all the time, every day, distracting us with different elements within our self, that those thoughts are coming from, which is fear, which is not understanding sometimes, all the events that are going on in our life, and we think them through, and we try as much as we can to come up with solutions in our mind. The mind is a very, very powerful tool. There is this immense energy available to us between the five and a half inches between our ears, which is obviously our brain, but ultimately what is feeding that is how we feel. Really focusing on how we feel is the one spiritual awareness that begins to change the way that you approach and go through life. Your feelings are really running you at the very deepest core level of yourself. Think on this for a moment and contemplate on it deeply. What is it in life that you really want to do? What is it in life that you really want to have? You want to feel good, you want to feel happy. You want to feel joy. You can't think any of those things. You feel all of those things. So ultimately, life is about what you feel. And when you begin to have that one strong spiritual awareness, you begin to attune yourself with the very soul essence of who and what you are, your spiritual awareness, your spiritual being, because, as a human being, you put into the world through the five senses what you feel, which I talk about more in episode number 65 Five Practical Keys for Human and Spiritual Success Every Day. Essentially, you act on what you feel. Ultimately, what you do for a long time as a habit, over and over again is, I would suggest to you, based always on how it makes you feel. Conversely, if you know that something doesn't make you feel good for an ongoing period of time, you may try to change it, and then what happens within you is, if things don't feel a certain way, you begin to think about how you can change them. So looking at the perspective of how feelings really are a very intricate part of your cellular structure, of your being, of your spiritual essence, of your God, force of the awakening within you that is truly you. You begin to become very atune and attuned with your feelings. When you begin to get into the depth of that of atunement with your feelings, you begin to change the course of your life, because you allow yourself to get out of the logical process of thinking of how things should or shouldn't be. You know, sometimes when we go into the world, we always think about how we would like things to look whether we go out into the world, and we're looking for a partner. We think about, well, our partner needs to look this way or that way, or needs to have this job or that job. That is a thinking process. And then you may receive that partner, and they appear the way you thought they would appear. But ultimately, after a period of time, you find out they don't make you feel the way that you thought you would. So it looks good on paper sometimes, but ultimately, if you had gone out into the world and you would focus on how this individual, the partner that you're looking for, for example, you approach it from the premise of how they made you feel from day one and didn't ignore those feelings. You may have made different decisions. It's the same with your work environment, professionally, in general, when you walk in nature, it's a feeling we are predominantly feeling things through, and I talk about this many times in a lot of my episodes, the intuitive process begin to really get in touch with how you are feeling, and importantly to remember also is that when you go out into the world, your biggest success in life is not only how you feel about yourself, but how others feel about you. Sometimes we are contemplating too much about what others think of us. What you really want to be aware of is based on the results you're trying to get in life is how other people feel about you. How did you impact them? Because you can make a lot of changes in your own life and a lot of changes in other people's life, personally and professionally, positively by how they feel about you, people will do more for you if they feel good about you, if they feel that you are trustworthy. If they feel that you will follow through, they will tell other people that, because they feel very positive about you, these are positive emotions that you arouse in people. It's part of your magnetism, as the episode is called. Discover The Hidden Path of Spiritual Awareness, discovering that allows you to become more effective in this world through actualizing your own magnetism that is a deep spiritual awareness of the self realized individual, because it is an internal awakening, which you uncover to a very positive response to your external energy that you're putting out into the world. You know, the interesting thing about feelings is, is that throughout history, we have seen the movements that people have been able to establish is based primarily upon how they make people feel good, bad or indifferent. The leader, the person, the person leading a movement, can lead people down all kinds of avenues that they may or may not normally go down, because they create a feeling of belonging. For those of you who may be familiar with Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs, belonging is a very strong feeling that we need to have. So again, it's getting back into how do you make people feel? How do you make yourself feel? And when you begin to really get in touch with that as a major premise for your decision making and the way you approach life, you'll begin to understand how important it is that you get deeply in touch with your soul essence, your spiritual being, because that is driving the outcome of your life, whether you understand it consciously or not, I would strongly suggest to you discovering that is the hidden path to your spiritual awareness. It is a profound realization in its application you are going to act upon how you feel when you're in this world. There's also, as I mentioned before, another factor, how people feel about you. When you become very conscious of that. And it's not just a subliminal or a subconscious thought, but you become very aware of it, you're going to understand how energetically your life is affected by the feelings that you are able to put out in the world. When you walk into a room, when people meet you, when you first speak, because the tone of your voice, the power of your voice, the level of your communication is carrying an energy. Now in today's world, of course, we communicate a lot by text and email, but even those mediums in social media carry a tonality and a feeling behind the words that you have written. More powerfully obviously is you speaking words and being in front of people as we see more and more, even with the podcast industry now that video podcasts are becoming very important. Why? Because you can see and connect with the pod-caster. You can see and hear the pod-caster. You can feel what it is to be involved in the conversations that are going on, rather than just involved in the audio. It's something I'm looking into myself as the industry is changing. The main thing is, is that you are feeling positive about the individual that is bringing you the message, and as you begin to feel good about the individual bringing you the message, you begin to trust them to the point you can trust an individual that no matter what they say, you believe them, your trust in them is so deep that has to be tempered with wisdom and common sense, Because feelings are very powerful. They can even drive illogical behavior. That is why I say what you feel is more powerful than what you think. Contemplate on this for a moment. For example, have you ever been involved with a friend or a family member or someone in your social circle that was in love with someone who was totally inappropriate and wasn't going to work out. And you knew that, and everyone around them knew that, but they were so enamored with this individual that it defied logic, because their feelings for this individual driven by whatever is overriding their common sense and their logic. That is the power of feeling. On a different level of feeling, what's driving your decisions intuitively, is what you feel about what's going on, and that is the power of your life. Is the feeling process at the deepest core, Soul level that will drive your greatest and best decisions. Gut level feeling, that's the first arousal of intuition within yourself. Pay close attention to what you're feeling. Pay close attention to how you feel about yourself. Pay close attention to the people around you, and when you begin to pay closer attention to what you feel, how you interact with yourself, your conversations with other people, your own self talk will begin to change, because that moment that you begin to understand that something doesn't feel right, you will communicate differently on every level. For example, when you may have acted before from logic, because it sounded good, and you would say to a person, well, let me think about that, I'll get back to you, your language, your inner language, your inner sanctuary, how you approach life will change. You will find yourself saying things like this. This doesn't feel quite right. Give me some time I'll get back with you, and when I feel differently, I'll follow up with you, at least, I will have some more information that I feel good about that one change that flip in your language is showing you that you are beginning to operate on a much deeper level. You're discovering different pathways within yourself and uncovering them to give you a greater spiritual awareness within your own communication that may have been previously hidden or clouded for whatever reason. If you understand this also in your own personal thinking and your own personal language and your own personal realization that you go out into the world and you begin to worry about what people will think of you. Begin to change that process as a thought and say to yourself, what will people feel about me and create this feeling within yourself about creating a positive inner vibration and frequency that leaves people with a good feeling about you once you're focusing on that, and it's not even something that you really have to concentrate on, because you become an essence within yourself of putting out energy that people feel good about. Why? Because you're doing your own personal development that allows you to feel good about you, about your own integrity, about your own authenticity, about who you are and when you feel good about yourself it is a magnetic force that other people intuitively feel good about also because you are that rare Self Realized individual that isn't just attending seminars and reading books, but you are actually applying it to such a great degree and depth in your life that you are having your own realization and changes. And people intuitively feel that most of what goes on in our life, and we don't always understand it, is based upon how we feel about people, situations and circumstances. Many times I, you have got misled by what looked good on paper and what we thought might work out, and then obviously, as I have mentioned before in other episodes, is this, we thought about it, and the reality was different, because when we approached thesituation, our thoughts did not match our feelings. We knew somehow it didn't feel right, but we overrode that, and then we went into the thinking process of, well, you know, it doesn't feel right, but let me try anyway and see what happens. That is usually in my life experience a recipe for disaster. What we need to do. What you and I need to do is flip that around and say, you know, if it doesn't feel right, I'm going to think about what I'm feeling, and when that changes, then I will know how to act. Always come from that place in everything you do, because when you begin to really own that, and you begin to look at how you feel about things that make you feel good, you'll understand that there's a pattern life is a pattern of behaviors. That's what our behaviors are. They fit into a pattern you begin to as you begin to monitor your life about what makes you feel good in a positive way. Do more of it, but you've got to be consistent when you find something that makes you feel good, that may be against the logical thinking process. For example, if you begin to really get involved in meditation, and really get to get involved in some solitude of nature, you will find that really makes you feel good. Over a period of time, there will be a difference in you about your peace and your understanding of life. In turn as a domino effect, that solitude, that meditation, will allow you to have more intuitive feelings that are accurate, and you will realize that there's a self-realization going on in you, an awakening that you really like. But the key here is, is to begin processes that you may be uncomfortable with first of all, and begin to implement them on an ongoing basis, to see how they make you feel. If you're not meditating regularly, getting alone time regularly, going out in nature regularly. If you can get as much sun regularly, then begin to do it, and you will begin to feel differently and then you'll put it into action in your life. Don't go into the process of thinking, well, I don't have time for that, or that doesn't work, or being negative. Don't let your own thoughts sabotage you from living a reality that's very, very important for you to begin to experience. Because a lot of times what we do in life, we dismiss things before we've had the opportunity to experience them, because we logically dismiss them. Always be in the explorer mode. That's what I like to call it the explorer mode, willing to discover the hidden path of your own spiritual awareness. But you cannot discover anything about yourself or anything unless you're willing to do the exploration and the experimentation. My strong suggestion in this episode is do not dismiss anything until you have the opportunity to experience how it makes you feel. Common sense is the best guiding light you have as to what you get involved in. We can think that drugs will make us feel good, alcohol will make us feel good. They're temporary. They do not last, and they're detrimental long term, what you're looking for is something that makes you feel good without an external stimulation that is a permanent, portable paradise. Meditation can do that, solitude can do that, nature can do that. And here's the beauty of all of those three. They are all free. The best things in life are free. The best things in life that will make you feel good about yourself and give you the most information about how you should feel about them are absolutely free. You don't need external stimuli. You don't need drugs and alcohol and everything else that people get involved in, sometimes to shroud the truth about their lives. No. What you need is, is to find a system that you can use every day, that will allow you to find a center point that you can feel good about yourself to act from. And we have been born and designed to have it internally. You have it. I have everyone has it. It is that quiet, still place that we go to on a regular basis to find our personal center with our Creator. There is no negotiating that, because when you look at life through the lens of reality, many people who have lots of things, lots of money, lots of external tricks and trinkets to make them happy are in fact, not happy at all. Why? Because you cannot externalize any process in this life to make you feel good about yourself. You're going to have to come to the realization. And I say have to, because really it's an unnegotiable item, because most people understand this, that your internal compass, your internal realization, your internal foundation for happiness is already built in if you put the work into discovering it, which is silence, solitude, meditation, it doesn't make any difference if you do it for five minutes, or if you do for 10 minutes, or if you do it for an hour, begin to do it. The reason is, as I mentioned earlier on, the one spiritual process that's going to give you the greatest results in your life is how you begin to feel, number one, about yourself, and number two, how you begin to feel about the people around you, and how that begins to impact you, from feeling to thinking, how am I going to change when you don't feel right about certain things, certain aspects of my life? You give that some thought, some contemplation. You meditate on it quietly so you sink it into your subconscious, into the deepest part of your mind and your soul, and you begin to see how you begin to feel about what it is that you're thinking about. And eventually, through a sifting process, through weeding through what it is you're contemplating upon, you will come upon a thought and an idea, because everything stems from an idea that you feel good about, and you'll have that intuitive sense that says, you know this idea, this thought, this action, I feel good about, run an experiment, be in the process of discovery, walking down those hidden, unexplored pathways, unraveling greater spiritual awareness for yourself that you have not experienced before. If you go out into the world and doesn't work out quite exactly as you thought it would, because it began to feel a little bit off, because situations and circumstances change, repeat the process, go back into that quiet, still space, begin to feel what it is that's off run some thoughts and ideas that you can sit with quietly and begin to adjust accordingly. Everything is that process. Feel, think, feel, think, then go back out into the world and apply what it is that you feel is necessary to create the changes that you would like, the hidden pathway that you have discovered and revealed to yourself through the spiritual awareness that you have. If you can implement this one process, this one spiritual awareness that will change your life, it is understanding the power of feeling, how you feel about yourself and how you make others feel about you will be one of the biggest determining factors of the outcome of your life. It's a simple self-realization for the self-realized individual, but the application of it in your life will bring about some of the most profound results that you could ever receive.
