Welcome to the self-realized podcast with Linton Bergsen, where you will shatter your limits. I'm not much into the self-help industry, as much as I'm into the self-realized individual, which is you, what matters most to you, how you get there, and the obstacles that may be in your way. If you would like to be part of this podcast and part of that discussion, I welcome you here with an open heart, open mind, and open arms. So without further ado let's get on with the podcast. Today's episode is a deep dive not just into success, but the very force that fuels it and is sometimes overlooked. Your mood. This is episode number 117, Mood Mastery: Unlock The Energy That Drives Success. Contemplate on this for a moment. Have you ever considered that your mood is more than just an emotion, it is an actual frequency through which you broadcast your own energy into the world. And here's the secret most never grasp. You do not need to chase motivation, you need to master your mood. Because a lot of times your motivation is tied to your mood. That is part of mood mastery. Master your mood, master your motivation. Because your mood sometimes, not just your willpower, determines your momentum. Now stay with me on this. Today we'll explore how to reshape your emotional frequency because everything operates at a frequency. Ignite your productive energy and unlock the subconscious levers that drive true success, helping you to shift gears from reacting to creating. We have all been there mornings where you wake up calm, the world seems cooperative, and others when your energy hits turbulence even before your coffee does. Here's the truth: your mood is not random. It is the result of what you tune into when you start the day. Think of it like radio static. When your signal is clear, your thoughts are positive, your intention on purpose, everything moves, flows effortlessly, and in sync. Much more so than when you fuel your awareness with fear, frustration, negative thinking, or comparison. You drain your very creative force. But when you feed your state with clarity, gratitude, and intentional action, you become a magnetic force to success. That's what magnetism is: the ability to draw people to you because of the energy you are putting out. That's what magnetism allows you to do, to become a magnet, to draw people into your circle to help you to get where you need to go. Let me give you an example of that. A client of mine, Sarah, had all the logic for success: business plan, funding, contacts, but emotionally she was at war with herself. Her internal dialogue was absolutely toxic. What if I fail? What if I am not enough? Once she learned to shift her mood before her meetings, instead of forcing performance through stress and self-talk of failure and not being enough, she transformed her thinking and her energy into being all that she can be, understanding she deserved to be successful and she belonged in the room. Within two months, she doubled her output and halved her anxiety. Her magnetic state, her consciousness, what she was putting out was drawing in what she needed to move her forward towards her success. There is no way you can create a positive outcome from a negative mindset. The self-realized individual is always aware of their moods, what's going on during the day, introspection, scanning their consciousness, being aware, self-aware of where they are at any given moment in time is the mark of a very self-aware, self-realized individual, which you are. I am going to give you an exercise now that you can do when you have time. It is called The Awareness Reset. Right now, pause. Scan your emotional state. What's the dominant mood running your life today? Don't label it good or bad, just name it. Naming emotion is taming emotion. Because you are being self-aware of what's going on with you and what you need to do about it. Once you see it without judgment, its grip starts to loosen on you. It is like anything that is unruly without boundaries. It needs taming. Once you begin to tame your emotions, you begin to get control of your mood, your motivation, and your momentum, which will then help you to have greater willpower to drive you to the goals that you want to succeed in. Contemplate on this thought for a moment. The most successful people aren't necessarily happier after they achieve. They achieve because they sustain higher moods which enable them to accomplish what they set out to do. A lot of times you hear about successful people who say it was the journey to get where they needed to go that was exhilarating. Once they were there everything plateaued and they were looking for something else to try to achieve. Why? Because it is in the journey, the right mood, the momentum, the mindset, the motivation that we feel the most exhilarated. It is while we are accomplishing that we feel the most alive. It is not always the accomplishment that gives us the necessary fuel to keep going to the next level. Remember this while you are trying to accomplish something about moods. A joyful mind generates creative solutions. A defeated mood blocks intuition. Intuition is that still small voice talking to you from a higher divine understanding. It is funding you energy, it is funding you thoughts, it is funding you feelings that you listen to if you are in a creative mindset. If you are constantly feeding yourself with defeated thoughts, defeated ideas, defeated self-talk, there is no way for your intuition to blossom. Positive energy cannot be funded to a negative vessel. The space is already occupied by something. In order for you to receive intuitive perception, you have to be a receptive positive vessel, which can be communicated through because there is a willingness to receive the vibratory frequencies that will communicate with you in the receptive mode of a positive mindset. That is what I call the power of vibrational alignment. Your mood is a frequency dial. If it's set to doubt, fear, and anxiety, you can only attract resistance. When tuned to gratitude, positive expectation and faith, even challenges feel lighter, and you will attract intuition and guidance from sources you never even thought possible. Because intuition is a vibrational alignment with the divine source of all energy that created you for your own authentic purpose, talking to you directly. It can only communicate to you in a positive mindset, not in fear and anxiety. The self-realized individual is always aware of that spiritual alignment and law. Intuition, like everything else, is a frequency. You have to tune into it. And here is an interesting fact. When you are in the right mood, in the right mindset, even challenges feel lighter. Let me give you an example of that from my own life. Years ago, when I transitioned careers, I faced uncertainty. Friends told me it was risky, but every decision that I made from fear only created more fear. Only when I recalibrated, choosing to act from calm certainty, did the right people, clients, and synchronicity show up. That wasn't coincidence, it was resonance. Vibrational alignment resonating with that which was and is authentically divinely appointed for me to complete in this lifetime. You have to resonate what is right for you in your lifetime. I would like to give you what I call a Mood Tuning Ritual when you are not listening to the podcast that you can use. Before your key task today, take 90 seconds, close your eyes, inhale deeply, hold for three counts, and exhale slowly. Now recall a memory that amplifies gratitude or pride. Visualize that emotion as light surrounding you. Hold it. That's your energetic anchor. Carry it into your next conversation or creation. This single act shifts your psychology, refocuses your energy, and primes your brain for success. It's very important to understand mood mastery is an art of choice. You cannot control the storm, but you can control your sail. When someone cuts you off, misses a deadline, or doubts you, that is your laboratory, your place to begin experimenting with what is real for you. It is through experimentation that anyone achieves true results between what works and what doesn't. Reactivity is emotional debt. It drains future energy. Awareness, self-awareness is investment. It multiplies and builds upon the energy for your future success. This brings to mind a story of an athlete I once worked with who trained harder than anyone but still lost his confidence mid-game. Not because of skill, but because his energy collapsed after very small mistakes. We practiced emotional recalibration mid-performance, a deep breath, a key word reset like flow. You will want to name your own that works for you, and visualization of his next success. Within three weeks, performance anxiety dropped by 80%. I would like to give you when you have time something that you can use. It's called a Three-Step recalibration. Number one, notice the mood you're in. Number two, name the story behind it. And number three, redirect attention to what is in your control. Do this three times a day for one week. And your mental baseline begins to elevate. You always want to be aware of where your baseline is, where you're starting from, because that is the jump point for your elevation. The higher your baseline, the higher your jump. So what is the connection between mood and success momentum? Think of success like building a fire. Motivation is the spark, mood is the oxygen. The better the oxygen flow, the hotter and longer the fire burns. We know as individuals, the more oxygen we have in our system, the more energy we have and the healthier we are. Mood mastery doesn't deny negative feelings. It redirects them. Every shadow emotion, fear, frustration, envy holds trapped energy waiting to be released through awareness. I had a listener who reached out to me, a brilliant designer, yet his perfectionism locked him into self-doubt loops. He restarted projects endlessly. His practice, each time he felt overwhelmed, he paused. He did a thirty-second heart focus breath reset. He imagined sending appreciation to a person he admired. He took a walk. He refocused his mind on different positive experiences. He created shifts in his moods deliberately. Within three months, his creativity was fluent again. Simply by mindful awareness of pausing and taking thirty seconds to reset his mood. Every shift in mood realigns your inner compass to higher energy states. Over time, success stops being a grind and it actually becomes an expression of who you are. Which actually is your natural state to be expressed consistently and constantly every day. Remember this you don't master your life by controlling every outcome. You master it by managing the energy you bring into each moment. Mood Mastery: Unlock The Energy That Drives Success, is not about pretending to be positive. It's about becoming present enough to choose the frequency that fuels your highest self, as I mentioned earlier. That is the power of vibrational alignment. So today decide will you let your mood be accidental or intentional? Start with one shift before your next meeting, your next call, your next thought.
